The hitch was easy to install. 20 minutes and was done. Have not used it yet, still have to connect the trailer wiring. The hitch does look like there is a slight twist on the receiver end when I look at it from the back of the car but really won’t be able to tell until I put the hitch in it. Maybe it wasn’t welded straight. Also it was scratched to bare metal in a couple places when it was unpacked, nothing a can of black spray paint couldn’t fix.
Easy to install. Worked perfectly for a trailer and cargo basket we used. I still have the original cargo basket and cargo basket bag I bought from etrailer 15 years ago. I really trust the products I buy from etrailer.
This draw-tite hitch receiver is STOUT and solid! Shipped in a sturdy box and no break through places. Hitch arrived safely and no issues. All the accessories items were boxed up nicely packed inside with the hitch receiver. A+ for shipping this heavy piece. It does however take two people to hold in place while you get one screw bolt started. It is heavy and cumbersome. Looks great on the 2025 Honda Passport.
Packaging was shit. Nice sturdy box but the receive cut its way out like it was trying to escape.
Nice unit. Will install it tomorrow.

Easy install, perfect fit. Did it myself in my driveway. It’s a trail hitch receiver, no moving parts to fall off or stop working. Hard to screw this up. Hopefully I won’t have to replace it.
2023 Honda Passport
Easy to install by yourself with the aid of a floor jack.
I do have an air compressor so I blew out the frame nuts before putting in the bolts.
I wish there was a 7 wire harness for my 2023 Honda Passport I would’ve purchased that instead of the 4 wire harness.

Install looks great, Gary! What are you going to be towing with your Passport?
6 bolts and 6 crush washers you can't go wrong. The receiver is heavy duty and you will need a extra hand. But I was able to install on the ground without a lift or jacks. Also having a torque wrench is nice. Would not recommend over torqueing

Overall, I have liked using the Draw-Tite trailer hitch. I have used it a few times and had no trouble with it. Pulling a small moving trailer was very easy and felt very secure. A little tricky installing it by myself, but doable on my Honda Passport. Definitely recommend this trailer hitch. The trailer light harness also was easy to install and worked perfectly.
I bought a trailer hitch for my 2021 Honda Passport. I used a floor jack to push it into place and found all the bolt holes lined up perfectly so installation was a breeze! Since then I’ve towed several trailers and it works fine. I did recheck the bolts recently—they are unique and are remaining tight and secure. Good job!
The hitch, receiver was delivered ahead of time and I installed it in about a 1/2 hrs time. It fix like a glove and is ready to do some pulling. Thanks folks at etrailer!
I purchased this Draw-tite (76290) hitch for my 2019 Honda Passport Elite, which has the hands free liftgate. Well, I'm happy to say, this hitch does NOT interfere with the hands free operation*! It was easy to install; 3 bolts and washers on each side, torqued it down, install complete... didn't even need to move the muffler. This hitch fits like a glove and doesn't stick out past the bumper (so no shin injuries).
I also purchased a wiring harness and bracket to go with this installation and thanks to the built-in bracket on the hitch, I was able to just bolt my bracket to that and slip the 4-pin trailer wire right in place (no zip ties or drilling into the bumper necessary).
* (Side note: After I installed the wiring harness, I zip tied the slack to the top of the hitch. Soon after doing that, I ran into an issue were the liftgate would not opening hands free. I relocated the slack right against the bumper which corrected the issue.)

One year later and the hitch is still working perfectly. The only thing I noticed is the hands free tailgate is a little finicky usually when youre holding something heavy, so you may need to keep trying for a bit. I have a feeling if I relocate the slack from the wiring harness it would probably correct the issue. But as far as the hitch itself, no issues at all.
This is the third trailer hitch receiver I’ve purchased from etrailer but by far the easiest to install. I’m over 70 years old and installed it by myself in less than 30 minutes. Used a motorcycle jack to hold up one side while I bolted up the other side. Pretty straight forward.

Everything worked as advertised, Courtney G made the ordering process smooth and easy. The hitch was well packaged a safe and all the parts were as ordered. Installation I used narrow piece of plywood over a large tool box to elevate the hitch to allow the first bolt to be set,than easy for the rest.
I got exactly what I ordered and it was delivered very timely. The you tube instruction videos are excellent and made installation easy. My only recommendation is better packaging for shipping the product. There wasn't much of a box left when it arrived.
Absolutely easy to install, had no issue pulling a 5x8 trailer filled with multiple heavy duty pallets and a 4wheeler.

Fastest shipping in the West! Super easy install. Bolted right up in roughly 30 minutes by myself. I chose the Draw Tite since it is the only class IV hitch that I found and I wanted to primarily protect the rear hatch since Honda decided a rear bumper was not necessary.
Awesome material. Arrived super fast and friendly installation.
I also loved the updates to let me know where the items were.
Best part? How affordable the items were when compared with amazon.

Fit my vehicle and bolted to the existing threaded nuts of the frame.
Quality and ease of installation
This hitch receiver fits the 2022 Honda passport very well. Be mindful that one person can't do the installation themselves because it is too heavy, but I took it to my local shop and they installed it in less than 15 minutes. Very solid and perfect fit.
Looks great. Got it installed as a one person job, but it was more difficult than I was anticipating. It wasn't the weight, although this has some heft to it, but it was awkward to hold up because of the pivot point due to the weight. Finally used the car jack to hold the hitch portion up while I got the bolts threaded. But my advice to other shade tree mechanics, have someone help hold this in place. It will save you a lot of time.

Its always impressive when I read that someone can do this on their own even with a jack! Do you work on cars a lot?
The Hitch fits perfect! I did have to trim a piece of a plastic tab off as the instructions said but that was easy and I installed a bracket to hold the flat plug.

Its been a year already! This hitch works great and still looks brand new.
Fit and finish of the Draw-Tite trailer hitch is exceptional. It fits my Honda Passport Elite perfectly. The kick sensor for rear hatch still works as indicated on etrailer site. Install took no more than 25 minutes. Scooted under the car, laid on my back... supported hitch with one knee and then held it to the frame with one hand... and ran the bolts in with the other hand... easy. The dealer wanted $1500 to install a Honda hitch vs. a couple of hundred dollars through etrailer and best of all this hitch looks better than the Honda offering. Absolutely satisfied 100%!
Very nice, high quality hitch. Simple install! Six bolts into pre threaded holes on the frame and you're done! There's no trying to fish nuts inside the frame like I've done on other vehicles. I put the rear tires on ramps and had tons of room. You could do it by yourself if you get creative, but much easier with a helper. I held it in place while my daughter got some bolts started for me.
I was considering going with the factory Honda hitch and harness, but their harness is 7 pin and I only need 4. Plus the hitch itself required installing a new cover with a cut out which is black plastic. I didn't want to give up the painted gray cover on my Trailsport, nor did I want to bother to paint the replacement cover. Not to mention the factory set up is way more expensive! I was able to buy the hitch, harness, and plug bracket with free shipping for less than it would've cost for the hitch only from Honda BEFORE shipping. From a value standpoint, it's a no-brainer.
Obviously the aftermarket hitches sit just a little lower under the cover, but it still looks great and fits perfectly!
I went with this Draw-tite hitch because I wanted to run the harness outside the vehicle. Unlike the other brands, It has a built in bracket to attach a 4 pin harness bracket giving a clean factory type look. I don't tow anything major or very often, but for what it's worth, the Draw-Tight also has a higher tow rating and tongue weight capacity than the other brands.
